Treasurer’s Report
83 branch members
67 tickets purchased for legends night and 10 guests
All 35 tickets for QPR away have been allocated to our branch - £50.50 per adult, £45.50 for members aged 16-21 and £22.50 for juniors and OAPs; RC will send out tickets on Tuesday
1 request for Liverpool away, 4 for Arsenal away and 3 for Newcastle
Next e-mail will be for Chelsea away on 12 December – deadline 3 November
Loyalty points update
JJ2 read out the current top 10; after the meeting the top 11 was:
40 points – Peter Simpson
35 points – Del Bromley, Iain MacLean, Ian Hinley
30 points – Tom Hinley, Phil Purdie, Mike Rolfe, Jack Rolfe, Kyle Simpson, Martin Smith, Harvey Smith
Legends night – 4 NovemberJJ had received a number of calls in the last week from people interested in the branch and legends night, so we may well sell in excess of the current 67 tickets
PP offered use of his PA system if required
JJ asked members to let him have City music and memorabilia to decorate the club
It was agreed to purchase a few decorations from the City store to supplement our own
JJ said that we would need to man the front desk to check tickets on the night and that we would welcome volunteers to support us on 4 November in the afternoon
JJ also asked everyone to find a raffle prize to donate

PD to bring City store brochure to Wolves game so we can select some items
All members to give JJ music, decorations and raffle prizes in advance

JJ told those present that there will be a pre-Chelsea event which is being set up by the club in London; this could be our Christmas get together
JJ said there has been limited interest in the book signing evenings he suggested so he will not progress these
JJ asked those present if they wished to buy raffle tickets for the MCFC Christmas draw – 40% of sales goes to our branch
IM asked members to let him know if a QPR away ticket becomes available as he missed the deadline

At our last MSB meeting we agreed to publish the current top scorers in our points system. The following includes points obtained from attending the meeting on 24 September and requests for tickets to attend the away game against Manchester United. It does not yet reflect QPR as we still await final confirmation from the club on our application.

Matters Arising
- IH had investigated a home trip – costs will be c£120 to include C level game in March/April and a night’s accommodation in Piccadilly. Those interested would need to pay their own train fare
- Points system update is full agenda item, JJ2 still awaits details of blue membership from Rod Cummins
- PD and JJ signed the minutes of the last meeting

- 80 members
- Only 34 tickets have been sold for legends night so far
- QPR deadline is 29 September, game is 5.15 pm kick off

- Peter Simpson and Iain MacLean at leading the points chart
- PD suggested that we should share details of those at the top on the website
Actions
- JJ2 to share top 10 for points system on the website
Legends night
- JJ reiterated details of the plans for 4 November
- Maximum numbers are 150, but only sold 34 tickets
- Really need to demonstrate allegiance to this event as a good event this year could build greater relations with the club
- City were planning another event in London on the same night but have postponed so as not to compete with ours
- Kevin Parker is donated a signed and framed photo of Bert Trautman
- MR will try to obtain a raffle prize from Gareth Barry
- Photos with the FA cup will require a £5 donation to City on the night
- Printed tickets will be sent to those attending following payment
Actions
- RC to send reminder e-mail encouraging members to accept or decline attendance
- All members to donate raffle prizes and JJ to chase other branches for interest in the legends night

- JJ offered warm wishes to Mark and Elaine for their forthcoming wedding
- PD thanked the committee for the day at Fulham
